What if I have an injury or a medical condition?
With your health care provider’s clearance as well as directed instruction, an adaptive training program catered to both your goals and needs will be set in place to allow you to safely develop all aspects of your fitness! (Reactive neuromuscular training.
Whats better: cardio or strength training?
Both are essential to your fitness lifestyle; one improves your heart health and efficiency and boosts recovery. The other increases one’s strength in & out of the gym while increasing bone density.
What is a special population?
Primarily, our special populations refer to individuals looking to train while previously injured, or living with health conditions such as, arthritis, high blood pressure, diabetes, hashimotos etc.
How often should I exercise?
Generally 3-4 times weekly is ideal for long term transformation while resting adequately. However, even if your circumstances allow to commit 1-2 days per week, the effort will develop the training habit so eventually, you can add more days as circumstances permit.
What is the musculoskeletal system?
The musculoskeletal system, composed of muscles, bones, and nerves, provides the body the structure and allows us to move uniquely through our day to day lives.
What is a microcycle?
A short period of specific exercises and wellness habits used to contribute to reaching our goal long term macro goal.
How much rest do I need?
On average 7-9 hours of sleep is ideal. And if that’s not enough incentive to get you to bed, we burn the most calories in our sleep! Thank you, metabolic factors!
